“Thinking about bringing in new players” Kim reveals summer transfer plans
Seoul Eiland FC head coach Kim Do-gyun has announced new signings ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window. The club is already considered to have one of the strongest squads in K-League 2, but it is set to get even stronger as Kim has revealed plans to add to the squad across up to three positions.
“The summer transfer market will be held this month, and we are currently thinking about signing new players,” Kim told reporters at an official press conference immediately after the team’s 2-1 home win over Gyeongnam FC in the 16th round of the Hana Bank K League 2 2024 at Mokdong Sports Complex at 7 p.m. on Jan. 1.
Seoul E-Land took the lead in the 24th minute through Park Min-seo and then added a goal from Bruno Silva (BRA) just 25 seconds into the second half. Despite conceding a 35th-minute equalizer to Park Min-seo, Seoul Eland held on to the one-goal lead for the remainder of the match. Coach Kim said, “I’m happy to win at home after a long time and with a lot of support from our fans. We said before the break that we must win and produce results, and it worked out as planned. I’m grateful to the players,” said Kim, ”but I was disappointed that we played complacent when we took the lead.
