Casino Technology Company RGB Rebound On Q4 Profit Of $2M

Malaysia-based casino electronic gaming and services provider RGB International Bhd reported net profit of just over $9.3 million ($2.1 million) in the three months to Dec. 31, compared with a loss of $549,000 a year earlier, a filing with Bursa Malaysia said on Monday.

Earnings earlier this year meant full-year profit was $4.6 million in 2022, but they improved significantly in 2021 with a loss of nearly $10.3 million. 슬롯머신

The company said the recovery in the tourism and hospitality sector, helped by the resumption of borders after the COVID-19 pandemic, particularly in areas where the group operates, was an improvement factor.

“Based on the positive market outlook, for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2023, the group expects to perform significantly better, supported by “strong orders secured to date,” despite facing “inflationary pressure” on operating costs.

The company operates in three main areas: game equipment sales and marketing, technical support and management, and engineering services.

GROUP PROFIT BEFORE INTEREST, TAXATION, DEPRECISION AND AMOUNTED FOR THE THREE MONTHS TO DECEMBER 31 INCREASED 82.8% Y/Y TO $25.3 MILLION. For the full year, the group’s EBITDA increased 34.2% Y/Y to nearly $60.3 million.

Q4 REVENUE AND MARKETING REVENUE INCREASED 125.8% Y/Y TO nearly $85.5 MILLION. Technical and support management revenue rose 94.7% to $32.7 million for the quarter. Q4 ENGINEERING SERVICES REVENUE INCREASED 534.7% TO Slightly LOWER $1.1 MILLION.
