Tottenham could finally land a successor to Harry Kane

Tottenham Hotspur could finally land a successor to Harry Kane (30, Bayern Munich), with positive signs emerging regarding the signing of Santiago Jimenez (23, Feyenoord).

Italy’s Calcio Mercato published an article titled “From AC Milan’s approach to England’s offensive. Jimenez chooses his future. AC Milan and Napoli also want Jimenez, but he will fly to England, which he visited most recently,” the publication reported.

“Jimenez is destined to ignite the summer transfer market. Europe’s biggest clubs are preparing to hunt for strikers, including Kylian Mbappe. Jimenez is one of them. He is very popular and visited Milan last week with his father, who is his agent.”

However, it seems that Jimenez is closer to the Premier League (PL). Calcio Mercato said: “It is difficult to accelerate the signing of Jimenez immediately, unless it is a huge offer that would cause bankruptcy, but there are some signs, such as the player’s visit to London with his family. They were very emphatic on social media that they visited Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.”

Now, even Feyenoord is finding it difficult to keep Jimenez.

“With more and more teams jumping in, the transfer fee is expected to be high. Feyenoord are looking for something close to €50 million. 스포츠토토 The English club can meet that, and Arsenal and Atletico Madrid are also interested. We are at the stage where the first approaches are being made.”

Jimenez is a Mexico international goalkeeper. He has scored 24 goals in 40 official games in a Feyenoord shirt this season. He’s not a very tall striker at 6-foot-4, but he’s very good in the box.

Winning DNA. Feyenoord clinched the Eredivisie title early last season, returning to the top flight for the first time in six years. Jimenez, a late arrival in late July, scored 15 goals in 32 games and lifted the trophy in his debut season.

There are several teams in the market for a striker. Tottenham, who are in need of a successor to Kane, are among the favorites. Tottenham have identified him as their number one target and have reportedly been in contact with Feyenoord since last month.

Having Jimenez would also take a lot of pressure off captain Son Heung-min.

Spurs have failed to bring in a true striker since Kane’s departure, turning Son into a central striker. His lack of form and frequent injuries have also been a problem, but with the addition of Jimenez, Son could return to the left wing and stop being a “wasted talent.

“Jimenez could be the perfect Kane replacement at Tottenham,” says Football Today. “Tottenham’s priority is to finally secure a long-term replacement for Kane,” says Football Today, “and Jimenez could fit in perfectly with manager Enzi Postecoglou’s fast, attacking football. He is also injury-prone.”

Jimenez fueled the rumors when he watched the North London derby between Tottenham and Arsenal on March 28th. He captured footage of Son Heung-min scoring a penalty and shared it on social media. Jimenez’s father, who is also his agent, accompanied him, raising expectations among Spurs fans.

However, Spurs lost the game 2-3.

It’s unclear what Jimenez was thinking as he watched Tottenham’s performance. Tottenham fan site Spurs Web wrote: “The atmosphere on Sunday was not good. Arsenal raced out to an unassailable lead in the first half. We can only hope that Jimenez was impressed with Tottenham’s facilities,” sighed one Spurs fan.

There are other contenders. Spurs, Juventus, AC Milan, Arsenal, 온라인 슬롯 and others are all in the hunt for Jimenez. Tottenham and Leipzig are reportedly leading the pack.

As Spurs Web says, “Tottenham are said to be in the front row of the race for Jimenez. However, by all accounts, it appears that both Jimenez and Feyenoord have yet to make a final decision on his next destination. There could be a few more twists and turns in the transfer market over the coming weeks.”
