Oh Ji-hwan’s ninth-inning, two-out, game-winning triple gives LG an 85 percent chance to win the title

After giving up a big hit in the fifth inning, Oh scooped up a fastball from Kim Jae-yoon and sent it over the right field fence to become the hero of the game.

After the game, Oh was named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the day and received a prize of 1 million won.

After a thrilling 5-4 comeback win in Game 2 two nights ago on Park Dong-won’s game-winning two-run arch in the eighth inning, LG snatched the victory in even more dramatic circumstances in Game 3 with two outs in the top of the ninth to take a 2-1 series lead.

In the Korean Series going back to last year, the team with the second win in a series tied at 1-1 (including draws) had an 85 percent chance of winning the title (17 out of 20).

Game 4 between the two teams will be held at 2 p.m. on Nov. 11 at the same venue. LG will start left-hander Kim Yun-sik and KT will start right-hander Uhm Sang-baek.

On one of the coldest days of the fall, the two teams thawed out in a hotly contested game that went back and forth from lead to lead to tie to lead to tie to tie to lead to tie.

LG had the last laugh with a trio of decisive cannons.

LG broke the silence in the third inning with a single home run.

After the first inning, Hong Chang-ki led off with a single up the middle and Park Hae-min drew a walk.

After Kim Hyun-soo grounded out to the first baseman, with runners on second and third, No. 4 hitter Austin Dean pulled a high fastball from KT starter Wes Benjamin straight to the left field foul pole for a leadoff home run.

KT got a run back in the bottom of the inning as Benjamin got out of a bases-loaded jam when Oh was hit by a pitch.

After a walk and a single to left by Kim Sang-soo put runners on first and second with no outs, Hwang Jae-gyun hit a two-run double to left-center field.

After Park Byung-ho flied out to right field, Jang Jang-woo’s straight hit to the second baseman was turned into a double play, leaving KT with just one run, but they capitalized on back-to-back LG errors in the fifth inning.

In the first inning, Jang Jang-woo’s grounder to shortstop 안전카지노사이트 Oh Ji-hwan was not picked up and flicked backward.

LG left fielder Moon Sung-joo caught the ball as it rolled into the outfield and threw it out at third base, putting two runners in scoring position at second and third.

KT pinch-hitter Kim Min-hyuk took advantage of LG’s third pitcher, Ham Deok-ju, and lined a single to right to make it 2-3.

Soon after, No. 7 Anthony Alford tied the game at 3-3 with a double that hit directly off the right field fence.

Pinch-hitter Lee Ho-yeon’s infield grounder was thrown out at third base, but with runners on first and second, No. 9 Choi Sung-ho lined a single up the middle to make it 4-3.

KT rallied to take the lead, but LG came back with a cannon in the top of the sixth.

After Moon Bo-kyung led off with a single to left, KT manager Lee Kang-cheol replaced starter Benjamin with right-hander Son Dong-hyun.

He was wary of Park Dong-won, the hero of the game-winning two-run homer in Game 2, but Park scooped up a 145-kilometer-per-hour fastball that was low to the side of his body and launched it over the left-field wall for a game-winning two-run shot.

After pulling starter Lim Chan-kyu in the fourth inning and using four relievers through the fifth, LG manager Yoon Kyung-yeop brought in Ko Woo-seok to close out the eighth with a 5-4 lead after Yoo Young-chan pitched two scoreless innings in the bottom of the sixth.

After giving up a game-winning double to Moon Sang-chul in the eighth inning in the first game, Go got off to a rough start by giving up a single to the first batter he faced.

After a groundout by Kim Sang-soo, Hwang Jae-gyun pulled a changeup from Go Woo-seok for a tiebreaking double that landed just inside the left-field fence, sending the first-base bleachers into a frenzy.

Soon after, Park Byung-ho pulled a 152-kilometer-per-hour cannonball from Go Woo-seok for a two-run arch over the left field fence to give KT the win.

But in the top of the ninth, Kim Jae-yoon, who had gotten two outs, walked Austin Dean to load the bases and gave up a deceptive three-run homer to Oh Ji-hwan.
