K League 2 Anyang-Kyungnam draw 1-1 after ‘underwater battle’

FC Anyang and Gyeongnam FC of the professional soccer K League 2 played to a 1-1 draw after an underwater battle.

Anyang recently ended a three-game losing streak, but failed to add a win in four matches, and continued to be disadvantaged against Gyeongnam this season with a 1-1 draw and two losses.

With just one more point, Anyang dropped to seventh place (43 points).

Fifth-placed Gyeongnam improved to 46 points, closing the gap on fourth-placed Gimpo FC (49-33) to three points.

With a three-match unbeaten streak, including two straight wins, Jeonnam jumped to sixth place (44 points). Chungnam Asan is 11th (33 points).
