Heungkuk Life Women’s Professional Volleyball is busy in the off-season. They have a busy schedule ahead. The KOVO (Korea Volleyball Organisation) Cup in Tongyeong and the start of the 2024-25 Dodram V League season are just around the corner.

In the meantime, Heungkuk Life will be travelling to China for a training camp. This time, the location is different. The team will be camping in China instead of Japan, which has been their usual destination.

During the training camp in China, which will run from 25th to 31st, the team will visit Shanghai and play a practice match against the Chinese League Shanghai. Shanghai is a team that Kim played for in the 2017-18 and 2021-22 seasons 메이저 토토사이트 and is well known to fans in Korea.

They finished second in the Chinese League last season. Heungkuk Life previously announced an exchange game with JT Marvelous (Japan).

The game will take place on 14 September at the Samsan Gymnasium in Incheon, South Korea. The reasons for the team to play against Japanese and Chinese club teams are clear.

It’s to improve the team’s practice and to maximise the amount of time the players can spend playing together ahead of the upcoming season. Compared to last season, Heungkuk Life’s roster has changed a lot.

While the likes of ‘main gun’ and ‘ace’ Kim Yeon-kyung and middle blocker Kim Soo-ji remain, the main setter has changed from Lee Won-jung to Lee Ig-eun. In addition, veteran libero Kim Hae-ran retired and Lee Ju-ah, one of the main middle blockers, left the team after becoming a free agent (FA).
